The morals that Canadians were taught to abide by at home and in school, with reference on how we view aggressive war and the war criminals that commit them, are contained in the opening speech by US Chief Prosecutor Robert H. Jackson during the Nuremberg Trials after WWII. His words were not just words, but the basis of what moral abiding citizens in the Western World believed in, and continue to believe in. They are an historic testament, and an important record to remember, on how we judged aggressive war.
Although the Allied forces had no one to bring THEM to trial for the war crimes THEY committed during the same war, Nuremberg was used for the foundation of the International Criminal Court of Justice (ICCJ) where any future War Criminals would be put on trial. The ICCJ was meant to be the action behind the words adopted by the world under international law so that mankind would have a place to go to for justice.
I say to you right now, that if you deny justice to victims of an aggressive war today, who suffer war crimes and crimes against humanity, then you side with the darkest malevolent forces on the planet that committed war crimes and crimes against humanity yesterday.
I have been threatened and attacked numerous times for standing on moral grounds through the testament made by this video. It is now age restricted and therefore not able to be viewed on this website but you can watch it on YouTube if you have an account there.
The testament of this video is based on the truth and why the video still remains online even after a number of attempts by evil forces to have it removed.
Made in 2010, the video contains archival footage from the Nuremberg Trials, Warsaw Ghetto, and clips from the concentration camps along with news clips and photos from the war on Gaza in 2009. For this reason, the video has been censored from searches and shadow banned by YouTube, but its powerful message is one to be heard and one I feel bridges the differences of opinion while pointing to a direction we must all take together.
